( there was plans to go to this month's social event, she thinks. there must have been, because there is dress pressed and carefully hung in the closet, but peter arrived and elena cooked -- and then they threw away the food and ordered take out instead -- and at some point between the third slice of pizza and second silly episode of whatever tv show they have on, she realises that really, she doesn't want to leave the house any more.
instead elena stretches as she stands up, and reaches over to grab the empty box of pizza. there's a moment of deliberation, she taps the cardboard a few times with a thoughtful expression on her face, and then she looks at peter with a surprisingly serious expression for a not that serious topic. )
Do you want to stay in tonight? ( he has nice clothes too, she spied the collared shirt just poking out of the bag he'd brought with him, so she's not the only one who has prepared. this is nice though, it's cozy and she hasn't experienced that in a long time. ) It's just a thought. I can go start getting ready, there's still plenty of time.
Mm. We don't have to go to the meet and greet, right? I mean - I'm basically going to hang out with you, and we're here already, so.
[ Yeah. Maybe they're being a tiny bit antisocial, but that's ... that's fine. They're allowed a small reprieve from the social calendars set in place by Eudio representatives.
He's feeling really calm and chill on the couch in Elena's living room, and there's still a couple of slices of pizza left, more than 25% of their television show to finish, and here it's just the two of them. ]
Uh. Maybe if we feel up to it in like, an hour?
[ He tries this as a means of making both of them feel a little less guilty for ditching. ]
